Natural Wines Oltrepò debuts in Milan with its first urban edition: NWO – Urban Harvest

After the success of the editions hosted among the rolling hills of Oltrepò Pavese, Natural Wines Oltrepò takes an important step and arrives for the first time in Milan with a
brand-new format: NWO – Urban Harvest, scheduled for October 5–6, 2025, at the Certosa District, the city’s new creative and cultural hub.
Natural Wines Oltrepò & Friends, founded by Jacopo Baruffaldi, is the first and only event bringing together natural, artisanal, and biodynamic producers from Oltrepò Pavese, along with their “friends” from across Italy. It’s an opportunity to discover unique labels, purchase your favorite wines, and enjoy cured meats, cheeses, and other regional specialties. A chance to meet producers, uncover the fascinating stories behind each bottle, and share a convivial experience in an authentic atmosphere.

Two sides, one event

Sunday, October 5th
Open to the public: for enthusiasts, the curious, and conscious consumers. Tasting counters, direct sales, conversations with producers, and a curated selection of local gastronomic proposals.

Monday, October 6th
Reserved for professionals: restaurateurs, wine shop owners, distributors, and the specialized press. A rich program of talks, networking opportunities, targeted tastings, and meaningful business connections.

NWO – Urban Harvest positions itself as a platform for dialogue between the world of artisanal wine and the city, celebrating quality, sustainability, and independent food and wine culture. The format preserves the original spirit of the event while reinterpreting it with an urban character, in harmony with the regeneration and openness of the Certosa District.

Core values
Promotion of short supply chains and conscious agricultural work
Environmental sustainability and a non-interventionist approach in vineyards and cellars
Dialogue between rural areas and urban contexts
Accessibility and inclusivity of wine as a shared cultural language

This is more than just a fair: two days of tastings, meetings, culture, and conviviality in the heart of Certosa District—an urban hub of regeneration that blends creativity, craftsmanship, and a contemporary vision.
48 natural, artisanal, and biodynamic winemakers from all over Italy will be present, offering authentic wines born from ethical, radical, and sustainable viticulture. Producers will be there to share the stories, territories, and philosophies behind each glass, with the
chance to purchase wines directly at the fair.

The event also features a rich food selection
Farms bringing cheeses, cured meats, preserves, and specialties from across Italy Food trucks (Galactico, ApeCesare) and local restaurants such as June Collective, with fresh and flavorful dishes designed to pair with the wines on tasting
