Our Milla Montis is inspired by the idyllic scenery around Meransen and the impressive peaks of the Dolomites. A house, that exudes a sense of the strong bond between humans and nature, and perfectly blends into the surroundings due to its modern architecture. Based on the high standards of nature, only locally-grown, selected materials are used to create an ambience of well-being.
So, wood and stone are the basic materials that form the foundations for a warm and familiar atmosphere at Hotel Milla Montis. Far from mainstream, you can find a place, where relaxation comes easy. The foundations for Milla Montis were laid by the parents of host Roland, Margareth and Benno, by rebuilding the old mill in Meransen to a guest house Pension Untermüllerhof. And there they are still pampering their guests with warm hospitality. The traditional hospitality, combined with fresh ideas, realized with the state-of-the-art architecture of Peter Pichler, breathed life into the new Milla Montis. Now it bridges the gap between traditions deeply-rooted in the region, the appreciation of nature’s beauty and exquisitely designed modern amenities. Here, you indulge in familiar atmosphere, far from mainstream standards.
A PLACE FOR FEELINGS
Following the red line that runs through the whole house, one discovers a lot of native wood in the rooms, large bright rooms that open views of the mountains and nature. Modern and reduced design of the interior creates space for relaxation, feelings and vacation adventures. From the cosy double room to the Living Suite with separate living room and private terrace, to the Spa Suite Plus, which celebrates the luxury of relaxation with its private sauna, free-standing bathtub and its own loggia, everyone will find his or her retreat. PLEASURABLE VARIETY WITHOUT COMPROMISES
As the host personally manages the kitchen and is master of all pots and pans, we do not compromise with quality and standard. The recipes, handed on by generations, inspired by Mediterranean Dolce Vita, are turned into delicious dishes with passion. Chef de Cuisine Roland focusses on high-quality products of the region. Therefore, the meat comes from farms, where animals are kept appropriate to their species, fresh fruit and vegetables are supplied by South Tyrolean farmers and the flour for our bread and cakes is made of traditional corn types.

You get an idea of the overwhelming power of the elements, when visiting our Montis SPA. Enjoy relaxation without limits in summer, listening to the sounds of nature in our outdoor sunbathing area.
