Mirror of a culinary identity that innovates, respecting the culture and history of the Mediterranean diet, Don Alfonso 1890 San Barbato is an emanation of the historic starred restaurant of the Sorrento Peninsula. Each dish is made exclusively with the best quality raw materials, treated with wisdom and awareness to create unique dishes, both in taste and in aesthetic appeal.
Guests are immersed in a refined total black environment that is particularly refined and evocative, with large panoramic windows overlooking the gardens and the exclusive dancing fountain. The
kitchen, which is also total black and unique in its kind, is totally visible and the dinner becomes a multi-sensory experience with the show of the brigade immersed in its fascinating work.
BELLAVISTA TERRACE
Accessible by the panoramic lift, the Terrazza Bellavista (the only one in the world) is the place where the collaboration with the prestigious partner of Franciacorta comes to life. The special location makes it one of the most evocative settings of the entire complex. From here it is possible to fully enjoy the spectacular panorama. The pulsating heart of the Resort is a very elegant and at the same time versatile space, designed to host the succession of catering and entertainment activities: from breakfast to dinner. In the Terrazza Bellavista you can taste the best proposals of the most prestigious international beverage brands. A multifaceted space characterized by lively rhythms and different environments, such as the bar area, lounge area, outdoor lounges and lookout areas. Particularly suitable also for private events such as birthday parties, anniversaries, graduation parties, it offers spaces dedicated to live music and artistic performances.
FRANCO PEPE IN TERRAZZA
Very soon, at the San Barbato Resort, another excellence of food will make its entrance: the world pizza icon Franco Pepe, a third generation pizza maker who will open the Franco Pepe pizzeria in
Terrazza in the rooftop of the Club House. The idea is to replicate all the contents of the Pepe in Grani project in Caiazzo, which has achieved, in recent years, some of the most important awards in Italy and in the world. A new concept, which will offer all the experience of Franco Pepe in a very innovative design environment. The restaurant has two adjoining rooms with two dedicated ovens and an open central kitchen, all surrounded by a panoramic terrace. The small room is designed for more private
events and also features a small pool outside, for a truly special Eat & Relax experience.
SAN BARBATO CANTINETTA
Also visible from the Hall, thanks to the characteristic glass ceiling, the Cantinetta of the San Barbato Resort is an extremely fascinating place that suggests all the wisdom and mastery of the techniques of selection and conservation of the finest varieties of wines. The internal rooms are constantly monitored to maintain the correct temperatures and guarantee an optimal administration. But the Cantinetta is not just contemplation, in fact tastings are also organized and, upon request, private dinners to allow Guests to immerse themselves in an experience of taste.
POOL AND SOLARIUM
Perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape and surrounded by greenery, the pool of the San Barbato Resort is a tribute to the evocative power of water, the element that most of all has been able to inspire our vision. The irregular shape, the 850 square meters of extension and its peculiar location make it a completely new place for the territory: a beneficial oasis in which to spend entire days in total privacy, enjoying all the comforts, including the fantastic semi-submerged Pool Bar. All around extends the solarium, with very comfortable sun loungers complete with chairs and tables to enjoy drinks in complete privacy and tranquility. There are also comfortable shaded areas.
DANCING FOUNTAIN
The Dancing Fountain, with its 650 square meters of surface and its technical virtuosities, is a unique attraction of its kind. An amazing show as well as an essential added value for any type of event that wants to be unforgettable. The aquatic choreographies, with jets up to ten meters high, that dance to the rhythm of music and bright colors that form the background to complex water games, create a real charm. The water games are reflected almost magically on the glass walls of the Resort, so guests find themselves immersed in a kaleidoscope of lights, sounds and colors.

CONFERENCE CENTER
The San Barbato Resort is also the ideal place for business meetings and conventions. The multiplicity of ancillary services available can transform corporate events into enjoyable stays, including recreational ones. It is possible to program workshops interspersed with playful, sporting, leisure and relaxation moments. The Conference Center can accommodate up to 60 people and is equipped with all the necessary technological support. The room, with double access both inside and outside, presents an ideal configuration for small conventions, meetings or corporate activities of various kinds. Like the rest of the Resort, the Conference Room has also been designed to surprise: its unusual shape makes it a decidedly versatile environment, departing from the “rigidity” of the rectangular plants normally offered in the conference rooms. Un progetto ambizioso di grande respiro nato dalla volontà di dar vita ad un concentrato di eccellenze nel mondo dell’hôtellerie lusso in Italia, nel cuore di una regione, la Basilicata, oggi al centro di un importante processo di valorizzazione.
All’interno di un parco di sei ettari (un giardino botanico con piante provenienti da tutto il mondo), il resort è una proprietà unica nel suo genere, che racchiude in sé diversi outlet di ristorazione: il ristorante gourmet Don Alfonso 1890 San Barbato (una stella Michelin) – derivazione del ristorante di Sant’Agata dei due Golfi, l’esclusiva Terrazza Bellavista Franciacorta – unica al mondo – e presto il ristorante giapponese Sansei by Nobuya Niimori il grande chef giapponese capace di fondere l’autentica cucina giapponese con prodotti ed eccellenze del territorio ed infine l’attesissima pizzeria Proxima di Franco Pepe (miglior pizzaiolo al mondo).
In aggiunta alle due Sale Ricevimento, è in fase di costruzione anche una magnificente sala polifunzionale il Pavilion San Barbato, che porta la firma dell’Arch. Michele De Lucchi, archi-star di fama internazionale, e che sarà destinata a grandi ricevimenti, concerti, mostre, eventi e convegni.
All’interno del Resort non mancano una grandissima Piscina “caraibica”, una monumentale Fontana Danzante, un Centro Benessere con una completissima Spa, un Conference Center e, presto, il campo da Golf e perfino un Eliporto.

La Terrazza Bellavista è il cuore pulsante del Resort, uno spazio molto elegante, al tempo stesso, dinamico e versatile, pensato per ospitare i clienti dal breakfast al light lunch, dagli after hour al light dinner.
Proxima di Franco Pepe
Posizionata nel rooftop della Club House, rappresenta l’ingresso di un’ulteriore eccellenza internazionale nel panorama della ristorazione offerto dal Resort. L’idea è di replicare tutti i contenuti del progetto Pepe in Grani a Caiazzo, in provincia di Caserta, che ha ottenuto, negli ultimi anni, alcuni tra i più importanti riconoscimenti in Italia e nel mondo. Un concept inedito, che proporrà la sapienza e l’esperienza di Franco Pepe in una lussuosa struttura da più di 300 posti. L’intera pizzeria prevede due sale comunicanti, una sala più piccola per eventi esclusivi (con una piscina pensile riservata), ed una sala più ampia. Il tutto circondato da un terrazzamento panoramico a 360° con cascate di piante verticali. Ogni sala ha il suo forno a legna dedicato ed al centro si trova la cucina a vista comunicante con le due sale.
Sansei Sushi Experience
Il Ristorante giapponese Sansei porta la firma del grande chef Nobuya Niimori nato a Tokyo nel 1973. La passione e la profonda conoscenza della cucina giapponese di altissima qualità, si fondono con l’amore e la grande curiosità per l’Italia, le sue materie prime e le eccellenze del territorio lucano. Il suo percorso professionale lo ha visto impegnato nei prestigiosi ristoranti Kiyo e Sushi B, e, soprattutto, nel famosissimo ristorante di Armani Nobu, dove il design della grande griffe della moda si unisce all’eccellenza della cucina tradizionale giapponese.
